Description
The Bobcat® E17 compact excavator (mini excavator) delivers performance in confined spaces with the need for only minimal repositioning. The operator can hydraulically retract the undercarriage to a width of only 98 cm to travel through gates or between walls and houses, then expand it to 136 cm for a wider footprint and greater performance. The E17 has reduced tail swing for better versatility and maneuverability on compact job sites. Performance More Predictable Bobcat® compact excavators give you perfect control of the boom, arm, and bucket, even in the most challenging work environments. Having confidence in this control and your precise movements enables you to complete the job using your machine, instead of doing it with manual labor. This predictable control is delivered through exclusive control valve systems and torque-limiting piston pumps that match force with demand. Retractable Undercarriage You can work in confined areas and squeeze through the tightest workspaces by retracting the tracks on Bobcat® E08, E10, E17, E19, and E20 compact excavators. The hydraulically activated retractable undercarriage is the ideal solution for access through narrow gates and doorways. Conventional Tail Swing Compared to other modes in the Bobcat line-up with minimal or zero tail swing, conventional tail-swing models typically deliver the greatest lift capacity. Some of our conventional tail-swing excavators may also have a narrower stance (width) for easier access through doorways, gates, property boundaries, or other restrictions. It can also be helpful when you load the machine on a trailer for transportation. Two-Speed Travel To raise your productivity, choose between two travel speeds to increase your speed around your job site. Dual Direction Detent To simplify operation, the Dual Direction Detent system provides continuous flow for attachments in either direction, allowing you to operate attachments without continually having to press a button. Retractable Blade You don't need any tools to adjust the blade extensions on E08, E10, E17, E19 and E20 models.
